Gimme Danger - The Stooges
The album Raw Power as largely ignored but without it there would be no punk rock. Iggy and the Stooges have had a huge impact on the bands I have played in over the years. The 'fk u this is my art' attitude helped defeat the doubt when you playing your guts out to sometimes less than grateful punters. As Iggy once said 'If I don't terrorize, I'm not Pop'
....and yeah he could have chose a better 'product' to endorse than the devils industry, like he could have chosen butter or summat!
